I get food from them a lot. I never really knew all this about the trees at the Augusta location.

I’ll have to go check that out. I visited the famous Angel Oak outside Charleston a few years back. Really incredible in person.
The oak in my front yard is 55 years old and it’s a giant
I had a massive 80 yo pine tree in my back yard that got damaged by a storm last summer. Somehow the top 15 feet or so got ripped off and fell barely missing my garage and power line. The ground shook and could feel it in the house.
It started to dry up and eventually a tree service company hired by reliant took it down. Chopped it up and left it there. What a mess.
If I bought a home and there was a pine tree in the yard, I’d cut it down. They are only good for pine needle mulch and falling into houses
When the tree is big and WIDE…the planter has DIED.
Love Becks prime. They had a swordfish sandwish that was DELICIOUS.
Becks Prime IMO is the NATION’S best fast food…not so fast food.
Did you plant it or count the rings….
That made me laiugh.
Our subdivision was started in 1970 as the first golf course community. Trees were planted with the house. I have planted another oak so I know it’s 16 years old. I also have a lime, grapefruit, lemon, miniature peach along with 3 flowering Rose of Sharon and assorted crepe myrtles
That sounds cool.
Our house is on a half acre so we have a massive backyard and the wife loves her flowers and trees….there are five different flower beds( each one has a different theme)and several big trees.
About five years ago I planted her a nectarine tree and apple tree along with a Meyer Lemon.
Our first nectarines are this year….just now getting ripe….apples probably next year and too hot for the Meyer.
Got a Japanese Maple that is about 20 ft high that is beautiful.
I planted a Meyer improved lemon about three years ago. It has grown tall, but still isn’t producing lemons.
When life doesn’t give you lemons, drink beer.
Usually fruit trees need 5 years. You may see one or two but it takes time. Mine is 3 years old, I had one lemon last year but zero this year.
Would it help to plant more than one, so they can pollinate each other?
I loved Beck’s Prime, but it was over priced. They were a pioneer though, as there are tons of over priced burger joints around now.
the oak trees?
Not necessary, one tree will be too many lemons
Go to your nursery and have them do a leaf and soil sample.
