The Catch

Got to be my new wallpaper! :heart_eyes_cat:

I’ll title it when you want it

Edit: erroneously stated a 4-1 record when it’s actually 5-1. Playing Arizona for bowl eligibility is a good way to start the second half of the season in year two of our latest experiment in :football: :heart_eyes_cat: Go Coogs!

Just a tremendous catch. NFL Scouts are probably doing a double-take. “He is a RB?”” NFL Scouts are asking.

Even Rice fans were clapping for that play

In the post game write up, Weigman was quoted as saying “When we get the ball we score.”

Sounds like a variation of the famous John Jenkins quote during the Run and Shoot days, when he said, “Every play is designed to score.”

Weigman is a winner. Speaks like a winner. Leads like a winner. Executes like a winner.

To date, the first half W/L record of our opponents is 17-20. The second half record of our opponents is 20-15.

Clearly the second half of the season will be tougher than the first half, so we’ll see how the team performs with Weigman at the helm.

Hoping for the best.

He reminds me of Christian McCaffrey. He ought to play on Sunday. He has an amazing football IQ.

Weigman actually cares about the program too

Unlike prior transfer QB’s who merely are just trying to up their draft stock

Connors has the running style of Dick Post and the receiving versitilty and tenacity of Kenneth Farrow.

It was certainly the catch of my day.

It only took 1 hand to catch a football on that play

We only have had two of those and it didn’t exactly work out for either of them. Then again, he’s still in the NFL so I guess it kinda did
