The forgotten climate change event

Archeologists are just now coming to realize how large the civilizations were prior to 1492. European diseases killed 90% of the indigenous populations. These civilizations were vast and complex even in North America.

A large swath of farm land was replaced by forests and rainforests thus causing a mini ice age. Man changes the climate but much of it is agricultural related. We have deforested 80% of the world in the last 100 years. It is not surprising then that we are warming the planet.

Don’t give the radical environmentalists any ideas:

56 Millions? It is interesting how they come up with this number.
For anyone that has not seen Apocalypto please see it. It is a masterpiece. It might be one the most important movie ever created.

The answer is simple, kill 90% of the population.

Problem solved. I don’t know why this is so difficult.

So Thanos was right?

Yeah, I mean Thanos is just another in a long line of progressive thinkers who see the future clearly before anyone else. But does he get credit for saving the universe from an ecological disaster (probably caused by major oil companies)? No he gets attacked from all sides from the Avengers.

History proves again and again, if you are the first to save the universe you can count on Iron Man shooting sh*t at you.

Which brings me to Iron Man. He doesn’t have any Iron on him. It is all space age polymers and stuff. He just uses the monicker “Iron” so he is more of a man of the people. He is not a man of the people, he is the son of the founder of Stark industries. He was born on 3rd base. If you take the name Iron Man and rearrange the letters and subtract some and add a few others it gives you MAGA. Just saying.

Lol

All the cretins are pushing the “farms are to blame” theme in the EU. In the next ten years you’ll see the EU buying vast swaths of land. Dear Lord, what disaster western Socialism is.

What the EU is doing to European farmers is appalling. They are imposing restrictions and outside of EU goods to be sold inside the EU.
The so called climate change restrictions are putting farmers out of business.
The EU is making trade deals with others when these same others are not under the same restrictions that EU farmers have. This has catastrophic effects.
Ending diesel subsidies is having a major impact too. Anyone that has been on a farm knows only diesel tractors are effective. An electric tractor or
ET is at this time not feasible.
The EU leaders by their actions are killing the EU farming industry
and their decisions tell the same farmers to f
k off.

It’s on purpose

Clearly. We had farmers on my Mother’s side for at least 250 years, yes that long. The EU or GVT’s have very little clue that being a farmer is a seven days a week and 24/7 job.

Interesting discussion!

We have clear cut 80% of the world’s forests in the last 100 years.

Did we think it wouldn’t have an ecological / climate impact?

Man is arrogant. We do sh$t snd we think nothing will happen. Then we come up with simplistic answers thinking that it will automatically fix the problem.

We are arrogant on both sides of the equation.

We are impacting the climate. Climate is a VERY complex thing so to think we have the simple fix, we don’t.

In general, more trees are better than less trees.

And even when we know we are hurting something we simply kick the can down the road and hope someone else will deal with it.

Yes and some would call that irresponsible.
