Again, Dana made the right move. The team should show significant progress during the coming season. If it doubles the number of wins, will he be fired? That seems unlikely.
With more wins and continued large-scale red-shirting, he will have a more mature team. Continued progress should occur.
If he gets to the point where he is playing mostly kids that have
already been in the program for 4 years, he is giving them the best opportunity to win and have better futures.
