UTSA and UTA have the CAP program where you can transfer after one year to UT Austin college of liberal arts with a minimum GPA. Some of those stay but it’s not a big group.

Just under half of the PSA kids at A&M CC and Tarleton transfer to A&M CS but they aren’t as strong on average. Didn’t make top 10% cut off. A big chunk also flunk out or move back home.

UTSA has had an impressive run and is getting closer to UTD in academics but below UH. Maybe on level with TX Tech?

To each his own. Some of us prefer our bowling scores to approach 300, rather than 170. :joy:

Back in 1970, when I got out of the Navy, I worked at Texas International at night as a station agent. When figuring weights for the flight manifest, women were averaged at 130 pounds and men at 180. That’s why Air New Zeeland was asking for weights when booking this year, they need to adjust the averages.
