I agree, I dont want to see a team go crazy on us.
BUT…
In a way, it feels like we just survived against a team that “went Miami” on us. At least overall shooting percentage-wise and as far as we might see.
50% FG [26 for 52)
43% from 3 (9 for 20)
100% from the line (15 for 15)
To me, surviving this Gonzaga performance is a testament to how this UH team can respond.to such an exceptional night by our opponent.

Purdue will have at least 5+ days to dissect our film and try to find holes.
Hopefully CKS can work on finding ways to get out of traps that Gonzaga pulled at the end of the game.

On those traps yesterday Shead would of cut thru and force a foul or find someone open. I like Milos and the size he brings on defense but cant stand half court playing hot potato with Sharp.

That’s just body type and style. Shead was so quick and strong he could do that, I didn’t think that will even be Milos 's game. Which means he and the other guards have to smarter with the ball.
Shead had his fair share of trouble with the press, too.

Shead was so explosive and athletic he could get away from being trapped. I dont ever remember a team doing it against him for like 6 or 7 plays in a row. He would had adjusted.
