I have only watched them play twice this year.
I know their defense looked like crap and they don’t have near enough fire power to even come close.

As long as we don’t find ways to choke in the S16 like the past 2 years, then we should be fine vs Purdue even with them having a home court advantage.

Yep. The Arizona game in San Antonio was a good example. Shead had two back-to-back turnovers that made the game close in the final 3-4 minutes of the game.

True dat! If Shead doesn’t get injured, we most likely beat Duke and end up in the final four, possibly play for a championship. No way we lose to Duke with Shead.

At the end of the day a loss is a loss and we got eliminated in the S16.
We need to change it this year.
This is accurate, the chokes are not. Shead getting injured not a choke. We didn’t choke Miami they beat us we didn’t give away the game at any point. If Gonzaga completed the comeback, that would’ve been a choke.
L’s are L’s is your most accurate statement, and in fact a valid point. Don’t undercut your correct point, with inaccuracy.

Gonzaga had super educated fans that were respectful to their opponent….
Many Purdue fans are ignorant as well as trashy….
“We’ve played no one”
“We have a bunch of 25 year olds”

Our point spread vs Purdue is TWICE what we had vs The Zags.
Thus a 4 seed is worse than is an 8 seed per Vegas.

it makes sense when you realize vegas spreads are similar to what sites like kenpom or barttorvik show and metrics will usually like a team who wins all their games in blowouts but loses squeakers more than a team that may a better resume but got blownout more than a couple of times
