So it’s that article saying cut Wegman what’s ranked 11th out of Wohl the E quarterbacks that were at the 2026 Manning passing Academy?

Clayton Tune really increased his notoriety and preseason hype going to the Manning Passing Academy. Connor Weigman will benefit from participating in the Academy. I expect Henderson to attend when it is his time.

Obviously Keisean will get time in “mop up”, in games that are already in hand, but Coach Fritz has not been shy when asked about some “Packages” for Keisean.
This is CLEARLY the best QB “Room” in the conference, but many will not buy it until they find out the Hard Way.
Which is perfectly fine by me…

I suppose I am talking mostly about pundits right now, who are almost ignoring the Coogs in their pre-season prognostications.
…and like I also said, I’m fine with it.
This is the best roster UH has had, in a while… …and that’s coming off of a 10 win season, with more returning snaps than most teams in the country.
I think it’s fair to say, UH is mostly being underrated, which could lead to being overlooked…

I see, so there really is no 2nd place. It’s a landslide. We’re blessed that they both know their roles and there’s no QB controversy. Should be fun having them both here for a year.

I haven’t found another QB Room in the conference with 2 5-Stars.
So, it’s a “gut” call at this point.

I think the argument against Houston would be experience at the back up spot. The Utes in particular would claim an experienced Byrd is better.
I think Houston has the edge. But that’s the argument people would use

…but clearly, do you think there’s any Head Coach in the conference who thinks their #2 QB has more UPSIDE than Keisean Henderson?

Don’t know enough about Byrd to make an informed opinion but I believe you would and I would defer to you, and I would understand that argument about experience.
My observation about that particular comparison is, I don’t know if there is any film from the UH “spring game”, by personal observation, you could definitely tell that Kei was a freshman. Could be lots of reasons that he just didn’t look crisp, on that day.
We’ll know a lot more about him when he takes game time snaps under center.

Sorry Coog faithful. This is a bit hyperbolic. QB2 had never taken a college snap. QB3 played sparingly at Syracuse, who was 3-9.
After Weigman, we may think we know what we have, but when the bullets start flying, we’ll soon find out. Even the best freshmen need time.
I share your optimism, but best QB Room in the Country? We’ll see.
