As a boy, Houston Cougars running back Mulbah Car escaped war and tragedy in his native Liberia. Now, he’s a U.S. citizen and making noise for a College Football Playoff contender.

So awesome to know the story of Mulbah Car. I’m the son of war refugees, I understand the price that some pay because of war. I’m glad that he overcame it and chose our alma mater. I wish him nothing but the best! Go Coogs!
