I guess there’s a lot to be said for finding the right guys. There’s always an element of the right guys “finding you”…

Anyone thinks there is going to be a real battle for QB next year? I feel like like in NIL you pretty much have to start him right?

I think you mean this year lol

Weigman and Henderson are going to be battling for QB1, and its a significant sign that our program is becoming elite

They are not battling. Weigman will start unless there’s an injury. Weigman will be mentoring Henderson.

No way… Wiggy is our starter

Wiggy wouldn’t have stayed here if he didn’t expect to be starter…

That would be pretty much silly, considering we have a great senior QB returning who won 10 games last year. Henderson will get his playing time, but Weigman is the starter…I am sure Henderson realizes there is still a lot to learn as a true freshman…

Yep. Agreed. Texas Bowl MVP.

From 4-8 to 10-3, and Weigman was a big part of that.

Finding the right guys is key. More importantly having the right man, men that build a true relationship and connection is paramount for success.
“This ships has sailed” seems like decades ago. What HCWF has done is build the plans for our current and future success. What Tulane has done since he left speak of HCWF legacy. For decades we have waited for a true leader. How exciting it is.

Henderson has the perfect opportunity to learn the system and from a Senior QB.
