I fear this comment may inadvertently reveal how old I am. I listen to terrestrial radio several hours every day – mostly The Spot 95.7 FM. UH ran commercials all day long today for the WVU game. The athletic department must have concluded that getting ranked is the hook to get more fans to the game.

Because I’m not used to seeing coaches propping up other coaches (in a different sport, but under the same athletics dept) basically beg fans to go see that other coach’s team & show support.
They aren’t doing that for new women’s basketball coach (Mitchell) or soccer’s new coach (Williams).
Sampson has always propped up football.
