Damn, can’t believe they honored the football coach who died one week ago from cancer. The nerve!

My mental health was damaged by our running out the clock to end the half

Your trolling is childish and pointless.

No it’s not.
I also gave Holgorsen the same treatment.

Not sure if University of Houston has ever consistently packed out football games for an entire season. If so have they done it 3 straight years? It is an excuse, we are the 4th largest city and many Longhorns and Aggies here that don’t really care about UH. Also, this city very corporate and is mainly a pro town. I still believe if you want to get the average fan or the non UH fan, you have to spend big money and bring in big names. I don’t make that kind of money to donate millions but many of you have millions! Go pay for the best! If you build it they will come, but it cost MONEY!

Reminds me of TSA. They confiscate stuff that might be a ā€œbombā€ and then proceed to threw it in the garbage along with all the other potential ā€œbombsā€.

It’s possible the coaching carousel got to the heads of our players during WVU…

That’s because the Houston metro 250K alumni are not engaged in UH activities. So, the question is, why not?

That answer comes from the UH AD.

It’s not the ad fault, it’s easy to blame the af but let’s be real UH fans never have showed up. Lazy to blame the AD it’s not his fault so fans need to look in the mirror. UH fans just rather watch from home let’s be real. If people can’t make games give the sht away for free

The team Cooged it but this can still be a successful season.

Buckle up for ucf. They will be tough at home.

I didn’t say it was the AD’s fault. I’m looking for an answer from the AD as why the alumni is not engaged in UH activities?

Being the AD, he should know the answer, then he can try to find a solution.

You are halfway to a solution, once you understand the problem.

The AD is likely not halfway there…

Possible? Maybe.

Probable? No.

that’s because University of Houston is not really a destination school or the first choice of many. Just my thoughts.

Honestly it starts with the High School Advisors, they are always telling kids to go to UT, RICE or A&M. We are not a destination school so therefore the Alumni base got their degree and got out to make money. People only come back to things they wanted in the first place. Many Alumni wish they got into their first choice of schools. Lets just be real about ourselves and who we are and stop trying to get people to fix a problem that needs to start with the high school advisors. I know it is fun to complain about things we have no control over, so I get it.

It’s not that simple.

Blaming High School Advisors?

I’m pretty sure most, if not all, give their students options, their parents give them options, and in most cases the high school student makes an informed, affordable decision.

If they choose to go elsewhere, perhaps the other school was the best option.

Furthermore, I don’t think UH has an enrollment problem, so I don’t even understand the mechanics of your point.
