You should be able to seat swoop at Rice stadium, for sure. We bought tickets on the Rice side once and said screw it and went to the UH side
Two years ago, I showed up to the Bayou Bucket game with the intent on buying GA tickets at the stadium. As I was in line, a woman approached me to give me two GA tickets. I tried to pay her, but she said she got the tickets for free from some sort of promotion at work. Since she didn’t pay for them, she wouldn’t take my money.
This year, I got a call from a friend offering tickets to the Bayou Bucket. He said he bought them for next to nothing as part of some sort of promotional package and would give them to me. So two games in a row at Rice where I didn’t have to pay for tickets.

At least we only have to buy one ticket and not a package like some schools have done for UT recently…

Bought 8 yesterday @$25 (all in) a pop on the UH side, lower section - 30 yard line from the Rice ticket office
They have a group ticket special.

You can walk around and sit wherever in that stadium. That’s a huge reason I like it so much. Lots of leg room

I have always maintained that one of the worst things about being a guy is having to use men’s public restrooms. It is often a truly horrible, and unpleasant smelling, experience.

I’ve consistently heard women’s restrooms are worse and it’s not close, per people who would know (custodians, mostly). No need to hover when you can stand.

If women’s restrooms are worse then they are really getting the short end because they have longer lines, too.
My father also confirmed this as a former custodian

Last time I walked up and I bought GA which was upper deck unreserved and sat on the shady side. It was very pleasant experience except for the outcome of the game.
I have worked in hospitality and specifically a fast food restraunt when I was younger and staff had to clea the restrooms. Woman are just as bad as men when it came to the restrooms. Ugh

I’ve have always thought tickets for this game or more expensive than they should be! They know that Houston fans show up since it’s in town.
Personally, I’m a big fan of the pee troughs. They’re extremely efficient.
Does the ticket office not sell away game tickets anymore?
We normally take 20k to Rice but I’m thinking 10-12 this year.
Times are tough plus hoops has some nice trips coming up.
Rice can get away with gouging horn and Agy but surely they have more sense when it comes to crosstown rival UH.
