My point is the affect on brand, not so much financials.
Personally I don’t know what the reason would be to add anyone other than to show strength. And I’m not so sure that would be beneficial.
I do know that Kansas has a legendary basketball program that might be attractive. So, if you add two and lose one later you just look feckless and rudderless. By adding four you are at least growing as a conference, with little chance that a raid destabilizes you.
Maybe over-thinking it but two just looks weak to me. Kind of panicky.
