That’s actually not the way things occurred. The TCU AD already acknowledged that a SMU player didn’t run into or hit any TCU staff. His own TCU players ran into him. Amazing how thgs can get posted w/o fact checking. I have Zero interest in SMU. Just can’t let incorrect post have legs.

Edit: There’s plenty of media coverage on what did or did not occur.

I’m a BearKat. But obviously I’ve been very loyal follower, supporter of UH ATHLETICS for 50+ yrs.
But I don’t have any hate towards UT, A&M, etc, I just don’t, it’s ok to be different.

Edit: Full disclosure my Step-Daughter who’s now 30 n has been in my life since she was 11, is graduate UT-Austin 2013. She’s already very successful in her professional working career, more than we could have imagined. Am I supposed to go throw water on her bc she Chose UT-A for her Academics.

Back to the B12.

If it means Baylor winning the conference then I’ll hold my nose and salute the champ. You gotta send these punks out of the conference on a low note…just like Ron postulated.

I wonder how much of the animosity from their departure will play into the motivation of the other schools. It seems like they would be very motivated, especially this year.

Still weird having to be interested in Big 12 football.

It’s a conference I’ve ignored for decades with their hokey high offense no defense style of play.

I do hope that changes and se see some more balance on offense and defense.

Once UT/OU are out, this conference is wide open. I hope that this is coupled with CFP expansion, otherwise I can easily see that new B12 is locked out of CFP.

Some longtime B12 members argue that if your name wasn’t OU/UT and you happened to win B12, you were essentially locked out already.

Edit: and lastly you must not get on here much if you think some on here just want UT to lose in Football :joy::sweat_smile::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::grin:. I can assure you that is not the case. I know the history behind the hate, np whatsoever for me or I wouldn’t come on here for Coog talk. There’s many on here that have UT/A&M ties through themselves attending one of the Schools or family members attending etc. It’s not personal, just a College Sports Forum to discuss many subjects.
