Thothong, who is the program’s career leader with 126 rounds and 9,372 strokes during her career, is poised to become the first student-athlete in program history to compete in four American Championships.
This season, she ranks second among the Cougars with a 73.71 scoring average and nine rounds of par or better.
Wednesday’s award was the third weekly honor of her career.
