Three great "vintage" workout videos

Found all of these on youtube.

Lyle Alzado’s “No Sweat”

Has everything. Stretching, warmup, high impact aerobics, bodyweight calisthenics, and weights.

Dolph Lundgren’s Maximum Potential

The upper body push-up workout is brutal; VERY hard to complete. Has a bit of everything, but its cardio portion isn’t long enough. I’d recommend doing that section twice. Also, doesn’t hit the upper back and biceps very well, so I’d add a burnout set of pull-ups at the end, if you can.

Scott Helvenston’s Navy Seal Strength Workout

No cardio. But a one hour total body strength and toning workout that hits every muscle group. Requires a pull-up bar or barbell for the last portion. Most of you probably don’t know the backstory on this guy. A former Navy Seal, he was one of the Blackwater contractors that ended up being hung up and set on fire in Iraq. Sadly, SFC Wesley Batalona, my TAC NCO at Army ROTC Advanced Camp at Fort Bragg back in 1993, was another one. Anyway, great total body workout. Could alternate with a cardio routine every other day.

I remember her show.

Can’t say I ever did any of her workouts though.

Would almost certainly get better ratings than whatever talking heads show they have now.
