Post any info you have on fan gatherings, both UH and the other teams in town.
Looks like Nebraska official spots is Toms Watch Bar

Iowa will be at J bar M BBQ
Illinois. Also claims to be going to Tom’s Watch bar
Toms holds like 200 people, I think it is safe to say, avoid that spot at ALL costs.

If fans can’t make it to the game, watch it from home. That’s what I’m doing.

There is a huge viewing party right outside the stadium
They did it last year too, looks fun for those who want to get some experience of the Sweet 16.

This is the best option other than being in Toyota Center…
No way in hell I’d miss this if I lived in Houston, though…

Why do Coog fans, with the game in their back yard stay home, while other teams fans travel 1000 miles to see their team? It will be interesting the see TC come tip off.

Looks like a great stop, starts at 5:30, walking from the Astros’ game towards Toyota Center for the Sweet 16 games

YOLO, getting my rest today. Used my ParkWhiz app for 803 Fannin, Thur 2:00 a.m. to Friday 1:30 a.m., only $10, catch the rail right outside the parking garage, and off to Daikin.

We have Grotto reservations at 4:45 p for the earliest ever dinner. Then walking to Toyota. Hopefully the first game is good and the Coogs win game 2.

Why ask a question when you already know the answer?
Is there anything going on at the George R. Brown in terms of a basketball fan fest? I’m thinking no because it’s not the Final Four?
I don’t know if you’d call it a Fan Fest, but definitely a party.

This sounds like a great idea. Never tried this garage or ParkWhiz. Could there be an issue where attendants take over the garage and make you pay a premium due to Astros?
