If the Coogs had beaten TT what would have been the deciding factor for game location?
Cincinnati over ND would beat that.

CFP ranking would have been the ultimate tie breaker- I think.

It most likely would have been in Cincinnati anyway. Cincy was preseason ranked and the win at Notre Dame.

Yeah if the teams have the same conference records the tie breakers are

Yep. So losing to Tech did not hurt us at all. Just a few spots in the rankings. We would still be playing at Cincy and we would still be ranked too low to make the playoffs.
I can’t wait for the Big 12 when an undefeated season will virtually guarantee a playoff spot.
