Just me if I was going to invest in a pro team it would be a basketball franchise the demographics say it’s the sport of the future. Worldwide 2nd to soccer
1987 is the crash that proves the rule.
Not really.
That was a strike, not a crash.
And obviously, it didn’t keep the NFL down. The owners…and the league…and the sport.and the FANS… WON that fight!
So that’s not even an exception, much less one that proves any rule.
The NFL has NEVER crashed, and is unlikely to during our lifetimes.
Don’t put money on it.
Relax! Football isn’t a dying sport. Unless your coach is Holgosen.
No one I know said that football is a dying sport. Baseball, yes, but not football. Which is sad, because I remember the day when baseball was #1 and football and basketball were a distant second and third. Baseball has no one to blame but themselves.
They get hit…
Getting hit and hitting someone are two very different things…
Ok, well what about this?
It’s been out there. All the talk about concussions and CTE, Obama saying he wouldn’t let his kids play, etc.
You’d have to go back pretty far to find the last time baseball was #1.
Football has been #1 since 1972.
I was born in 1971.
