Early in his Houston coaching career the Coogs were not doing so well and a dummy symbolizing Coach Yeoman was hung in effigy on campus.
To which the future HOF coach replied, and I am paraphrasing, “the only perfect man to walk this earth was hung on a cross. I am in no way perfect but I think I can handle it”
