barstool sports did a bit on the top 25 NIL earners. number 13 will make 2.1 million. fyi, if you have a net worth of 2 million you are in the top 10% of the country.
college football is now a minor league imo. if you make it, you get called up to the nfl; if not you may be able to live of your NIL the rest of your life; same as MLB does.

Thank you for posting. Here is the best part of this article:
“Jackson Arnold is one of many examples of why I don’t trust recruiting rankings. He’s why I don’t trust that these SEC rosters are SO MUCH better than the rest of college football. Jackson Arnold showed the world who he was last year with Oklahoma. He stunk out loud. Then he gets $1.9M from Auburn, and everybody thinks Auburn is a threat to win the SEC. Why? Because someone gave him 5-stars out of high school? Jackson Arnold could not have possibly had better weapons to throw too this season, and he stunk again. He’s probably going to get another million next season too, and the pre-season AP poll will rank whichever team he ends up playing for in the top 20.”
Now do any of you on Coogfans doubt of how much of a big deal it is to have HCWF?
true, most arent but same as the MLB which the top are signed to life changing money; while most are making enough to live on. i am not sure but i think a college football roster may actually be better paid overall as compared to a triple A roster.
You can be sure that most P4 rosters are more highly compensated than most triple A baseball rosters, but then again, that has been the case for decades at UT-Austin, ATM, et al.
Follow the $$$ - a good triple A team may draw 5,000-10,000 fans while a good P4 program may draw 70,000+ fans. Again, all you have to do is follow the money!
Ain’t it the absolute truth!!! I truly hate NIL and all its done to a sport i used to enjoy. Nowadays if you ain’t NIL , as the old saying goes, “you ain’t $hit”. Don’t know if its true, but i heard that the cow’s Manning donated a cool mil. to some charity or something. 18 year old able to do that! So, the semi-pro’s will have a “bowl season” coming up-wonder if any of 'em will play??
Georgia had 2 football players arrested for shoplifting. I guess they burned through their NIL money…

Well, we now see more and more football program Managers. There is a need for it. This post is telling us:
Money can’t buy championships…sur it can help.
Smart NIL is paramount for success. teetech might be the best example. Again, the “money bag” runner used to be a player. He has a much better idea of who will fit teetech’s HC schemes. If there was an NIL formula teetech’s approach is far and away the best one right now.
The graph’s NIL ROI ought to be a wake up call for every DIV I FBS football program. At the end of the day your Coaching staff is key to a Team’s development.
