  3. Shead’s mom gasping in admiration after his huge rebound slam vs A&M
  4. Sampson storming across the court to stick up for his teams when the officials were not.
  5. Ryan Elvin taking over on Sr night.

To me the A&M win in the tournament was the #1 memory. Winning in OT with four starters fouled out and walk-on Ryan Elvin on the court closing out the game was the greatest example of TEAM and CULTURE I’ve ever seen.

Total gut check.

Can’t remember which game, but for about the last 2 minutes of the first half Francis went full beastmode with blocks, steals and rebounds.

Best game and atmosphere of the year: Kansas, and it ain’t even close. Second would be Iowa St. Third would be Texas.

I am a little amazed that Texas is not in the top two, but it shows how UH has ascended, and Texas has descended, as a basketball rival.
