Cade Climie of Blinn for UH.

We have the best JUCO signing class it seems like every year and we still suck so one kid ain’t gonna help that much fire Whitting will though lol
Yeah, true.
It’s just that this guy’s numbers seem almost off the charts for the National champ.
We’ll see!
We need pitching, pitching and more pitching.
This kid was caught in the Schlossenagle heavy recruiting and was asked to go to Temple year 1 and then come back the next year. He did all that and came back. Word is that Earley and all loved the kid and kicked ass in fall of 2023. But Schloss told him he wouldn’t get much more play time so he left for Blinn. And went on a mission to prove himself. So far he’s done that. And I’m excited to see him come to UH near his hometown and hopefully keep it going and create a buzz !! Pitching a question. Climie and CCs sone and McGinnis kid all are solid offensive performers. Coog Fans time to come out and root them on !!! Let’s go !!
I’ve been “rooting” on Coogs baseball for almost 40 years.
Fool me once, fool me twice, fool me five times….until TW is gone I will not attend a UH baseball game nor will I encourage any of my players to play at UH.
I have nothing against any of the boys that are currently playing at UH and I wish them well.
I can understand that. And that’s your decision. Burned enough as a fan and cup looks half empty. I’m trying to be a fan of cup half full. I have personal stakes in this with this “crop” of players here and am hoping the boys success. With or without Whitting , there’s talent here this year. And I m excited to see some UH baseball very soon.
We need more fans with conviction like this. I swore I would not watch another UH football game live in the Levine tenure after his first game. I didn’t and I tacked on an additional year just in case I was hallucinating. It was one of the great purity rituals of my life. Then I had to start all over with Applewhite.
It is going to be very interesting to see how they start off the year. You would think that it would be the same crappy crowds at the beginning of the season but the same people seem to go every year. I am not sure what the fans can do to help sway the AD in the right direction because the money people seem to still support him. It would be interesting to hear what those people had to say about TW. He may be a great guy to them but he is a horrible coach who hasn’t done anything to improve the program in a number of years. If I am giving a ton of money to a program, I would actually like them to be on the winning side, and go to the NCAA tournament once every blue moon, but that is just me. Maybe I am just a Hardass!!
Baller, I have listened to you and Pollard in particular. I am far removed from the program here in Northern Arizona. I was really excited with the 4 corner additions to the Big 12 because I could see the Coogs here in Arizona. I have watched closely over the years from going to games as a student to being thrilled with some of our successes in the past and disappointed with our near misses. The last several years have been so frustrating and to see the high school talent that surrounds us in Houston and we are essentially making no effort to attract. We have burnt bridges with high schools and now I get to see our Coogs get hammered by ASU and U of A or just not bother. I fully understand Pollard and yourself. Very discouraging.
My daughter is a junior at U of A….she became a baseball fan from “having” to watch her brother play for years….
Her and her friends love watching the Wildcat baseball team….really good high level baseball.
They are a good watch….you should check them out Mark.
Pollard, had a great time at U of A versus Houston football game other than the 2nd half of the game. Arizona fans were cordial. My daughter is here at Coconino Community College with a major that will transfer to U of A in 2 years. Will take you up on that. Enjoy College baseball and historically they have been good!
I have spent a lot of time in Arizona and have watched a ton of games at ASU and U of A. ASU usually has a couple of tournaments in Surprise at the beginning of the year. There are usually big time teams that come in to play. There will be a ton of runs scored, too, because ASU has one of the worst staffs in college baseball. Their staff may even be worse than ours, but they can rake! And U of A is usually very good. They were last year. They just didn’t play well in the tournament.
First and foremost, there is ZERO, NADA, ZILCH excuses/reasons this proud program has been allowed to circle the Ol’ Ty-D-Bol, it’s tough to watch the same ol’ same ol’ over and over again…Helen Keller could see the issues…even let my season tickets go couple years back…but…I am looking forward to catching few games this year, taking grandson to games just as I did his Dad…the 3 of us will have fun…just love the game…Can someone for the love of mankind give AD Nunez Sean Allen’ phone number
