that is incorrect you are the one that has no idea
the numbers and criteria are out there and UH is not close

Blah…Blah…Blah.Blah.So says a Cow Pie Eater.
Remind us where Tech is ranked in both undergrad and law school versus UH by USNEWS.
What is the matter with you? You come on here with the sole purpose of trolling.
Also, tell me why Tech’s Architecture program has still yet to get accreditation for the Undergrad program offered there?
these comments are great and prove my point for me
total and complete inability to actually state why what I said was wrong
total and complete inability to offer reasons why UH is anywhere close to AAU membership
calling “troll”
lacking the understanding that people that do not even know the organization of their own university and university system most likely have little grasp of much else
bringing up Texas Tech
and failing to understand that a very large number of top ranked architecture programs in the USA do not have their undergrad program accredited
Yale, UVA, UW, GT, Cal, Harvard, MIT
a number of schools prefer their undergrads to have a broader education and then if you are successful and you undergo the needed coop programs you can go right into a shortened M.Arch program and get the needed accredited degree…most likely to keep the overall enrollment down in a degree program that is very dependent on the economy for graduates to obtain gainful employment in that field and where starting salaries can be very low in bad economic times and will not improve a lot for many in better times
unlike the difference between accredited and non-accredited engineering programs where the time difference to take the EIT and have gainful employment in the field before finally taking the test to get the “stamp” can be meaningfully longer…for architecture there is not a real difference in time
but of course law, and architecture programs play little into AAU membership anyway nor does any comparison to Texas Tech
You are a well known Tech troll…GET LOST!
Again.
Tell us where either Tech or Tech law are ranked compared to UH in USNEWS.
Hint: MUCH lower.
Why are you engaging with a troll?
To point out how much lower ranked his school is.
and yet the University of Houston has accredited programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Tells me the other schools do not meet the MINIMUM standards for accrediataion.
You must have an accredited degree to sit for the Architecture License.
So, you can have a shiny Bachelor of Architecture degree from Yale, UVA, UW, GT, CAL Harvard, MIT and it will be viewed by NAAB as no better than a piece of toilet paper.
Now for Houston Architecture BARCH grads…here is your path to a License UH Alum!
Do you work at UH / UH system?
Person underestimates Dr Khator. She has a goal of AAU within 5 yrs and so far hasn’t failed with any goals for UH.It might takes slightly longer than 5 yrs but certainly not decades or never.
She only failed at the Freshman housing mandate and convincing our dinosaur alums that we MUST become a Traditional School with more Traditional Students
True but she could have pushed it thru anyway but I recall she needed his political help to stop the UT land /campus mess in Houston and his general help on other issues. At anytime now she could redo that initiative if she felt whitmire’s future help isn’t needed, so it’s more that she didn’t want to burn a needed bridge. I honestly think she tries again later once Whitemire is done politically after his mayor position runs it’s course and he retires.
