One name to watch out for is Milos Uzan from OU. I read an article on On3 that says we are involved with him but Washington leads for him right now.

Also, there seems like almost zero chance we hear an official announcement for a transfer PG until Shead declares he is leaving.

it doesnt fit our recruiting profile…
alll major recruited transfers normally fit one of these: from the texas area, recruited in High school, or played against them, or Louisiana players with ties to quannas from aau …all major recruited players is in that category …
almost all players not in those categories were recruited to be bench filler… like tyson, bowser, taze, zanna
(taze was a major player for us, but because of injury, he wanst recruited to be one)
that’s why dedan, and taylor and even beekman fit as believable recruits as that is what we’ve done

Wait I thought Dedan was a done deal and the FACTUALS and ACTUALS would be enough to get Dedan here?! Here is the truth, it was never happening. Nate got wind of it on Trilly’s discord and pretended to know about the situation; his mom trippin about DJ staying home for one year and this and that. Completely false info. Piecing together info is one thing, but actually coming on here and lying for clout is another. Then going on another teams forum to gloat just for this to happen? Gtfo, its truly clown behavior. Dedan was thinking about the portal, and he may still enter, but to come on here and act like you know the inside information about their family dynamic is sad. And those are the actuals and factuals.

Yes of course CKS keeps things close to the vest, but most coaches do. Most recruiting insiders aren’t getting their info from coaches which is why all of these recruiting sites are able to exist. I doubt Brandon Jenkins is getting his UH basketball info from CKS.
But I’ll fall back on this one. Our fans are clearly cool with this setup so it what it is.

dedan liked a post about returning to UNLV, i’d consider dedan extremely unlikely for now
but sampson spoke about a pg he was confident about, and it basically being solidified
sampson wouldnt hype an unproven player…if anything he would downplay them if unproven (talk about how we cant expect the same production… but he was confident)…
just from what weve done in the past and potential players, i think he was talking about wade taylor, dedan thomas or reece beekman
i know i ruled out dedan, but at the time samspon gave that statement it might have been dedan he was talking about and something feel through
other guys that sampson would tout but unlikely
Judah Mintz - i actually like him more than the guys i listed, but zero ties to us - will go pro or transfer
Jalen Cook- fits the recruited and played angle, but i dont think sampson would hype him up
Ace Baldwin- zero ties to Houston or the staff
of realistic portal entries, i think thats the full list of guys i think sampson would tout as not being worried about pg
