i like Mercy Miller but i honestly think Harwell is the better player.
Mercy needs to shoot it better because in high school he shot it outstanding in Oak Hill -n- Notre Dame HS.

With Miller it’s his defense. Hopefully it clicks this off-season. But we have seen worse freshman defenders improve. I’m sure that was Coach main topic on Miller in the exit meeting. But yeah Harwell is a breath of fresh air with shot making and play making. He is the difference between cold spurts and staying in front of teams. Not even mention the best prospect, Houston could have over ten 100 point games next year.

Looking at the guys we have next year, it’s clear we are still going to be a defense first team, but the shooting droughts are going to be few and far between.
1). We have depth = fresh legs
2). Harwell and Cenac are instant offense/walking baskets

When Tugler goes out because of hacking. Small ball lineup will be lethal. Gets scarier if Tugler is stroking 3’s. Cenac McCarthy Harwell Pop and Milos is nasty. And the bench will keep the train moving once lungs are gassed out.
What was more impressive was how much he improved his free throw shooting. You could tell he put in a lot of work at the FT line and was no longer a liability.

We’ve never had enough talent to run a 10+ deep rotation, but next season will be different. Coach is going to have so much fun with all this talent at his disposal.
