Wouldnāt mind getting an experience guard to come off the bench.
Starters: Milos, Pop, Sharp, Jojo and Cenac
Bench: Mercy, Harwell, Flemings, McCarthy, McFarland, and Sakho.
Thereās not a lot of D1 experience coming off the bench in that group. Iām gonna leave Jackson, Jefferson, Lath, and Walker out for now.

He did well, but was overshadowed by how dominant Omier & Edgecombe were against our back court, at least in the away game (aka at Baylor).
I figured Terrence Arceneaux would leave, especially if Milos came back. The one on one conversation must have happened. Chase McCarthy I do want to see play stretch 4 at times. A elite 3pt shooter. Wish the best for Terrence but Houston doesnāt skip a beat. Plenty of players on roster who could fill his shoes.

you could always get more experience off the bench by flipping harwell and issacs in that rotation

Have they changed the rules on the Draft? I know Larry Bird was fully drafted the year he lead Indy State to the NCAA finals. Just he had to formally sign before the next draft. Is that not a thing anymore?
Personally I think early on Cenac will start and McFarland or Lath will spell him and Jo Jo will start and Sakho will spell him. Coach might settle on 3 of them getting minutes as the season goes on or maybe he feels good about 4. Just a guess though.
Yeah, but Sampson feels good about playing him ā¦ thatās enough for meā¦ but yes normally being listed at 215 would have been a noted issue

That would be ideal if one of Harwell/McCarthy/Mercy can earn the trust from CKS to start the game, even if it just first 4-5 minutes.

those vaunted summer practices will be the ultimate decider but the prospect of having several 4 and 5 star freshmen out there is pretty intriguing after the last 4 or so years and if weāre lucky enough theyāll always have sharp, tugler and uzan there to mentor them early on lol
Right. We both know Harwell is the starter over Miller. Just based on the intagibles and height alone. He is already ahead of Miller on defense while still in Highschool vs Miller one year here. Now I think Miller will be awesome but Harwell is a canāt miss prospect on the court. He is so consistently accurate on the court. He is Coach Sampson dream clutch player.
