I think the problem with Nico is Nico. He took a gamble, overestimating his market value, and is making less at UCLA than he would have at Tennessee.

He didn’t “outplay” his NIL deal……he is a slightly above average QB….he overplayed his hand and wound up screwing his teammates.

Duke lost the national POY and two other first round picks. All frosh. The other frosh didn’t contribute much. Sion James is out of eligibility and Proctor declared for the draft. So, they possibly lose their whole starting 5.

They’ll be fine. They’ve got a solid crop of HS’s and I’m sure they’ll land at least 1 really stout transfer. They lost 4 starters the year before and ended up being much better. They may be a bit worse but definitely think they’ll still be a contender.

The boozer twins have dominated everywhere they’ve been … they won at every level they’ve competed since they were freshmen… the bigger boozer twin is debated as the most decorated player in high school history
They have 3 5star from last year returning
And like I noted they are in on some big transfer. they are final 2 for Cedric coward (a 6’6 16pt transfer from wazzu)… … who is more touted than sion when he entered Duke
With how weak the ACC is, they’ll likely look as dominant again when it’s all said and done

People rather stay in college get paid than getting a real job that pays nowhere as good as an nil deal.
