my point is harwell injury has lingered longer than was planned (or terrance had been loyal from the start- harwell likely not pursued)… with harwell not likely starting, knowig sampson MO, terrance starts .

TA as a prospect, before injury, great looking shot. Not freaky athletic. And didn’t have an NBA ready body. What were his people thinking?

No one knows what the plan was. You acting like you do is hilarious. We have 2-3 more losses right now if Flemings is not starting.
Even if we take your word for it. TA would have started like 2 games before he would have been sent to the bench for Flemings.

@Pollardsvision always said Flemings was going to start. And people gave him some grief this offseason. And he was 100% right on Flemings.

We have mountains of evidence now that TA isn’t a starter level player, including how he is now getting 0 minutes at NCST. Literally 0 minutes.

terrance was the 3rd best defender in college basketball last year based on advanced metrics … i remember in the preseason, field of 68 asked who would win DPOY… There were hoards of Nc state fans claiming it would be Terrance based on his defensive advanced stats
Kingston is better than Terrance, that’s just a fact. but there’s an undertone that Terrance was a bad player… if we are actually valuing defense, Terrence was a good player and wouldnt be the worst starter in the sampson tenure… especially considering this defense hasnt lived to our standard

I loved TA but it just wasn’t meant to be. He was never the same after the injury against the Aggies.
I figured Flemings was going to be great here and I thought he would be an impact player this year but he has exceeded expectations from day 1.
Absolutely no way TA would have sat him on the bench.

One thing I would point out is that the pt was awarded because of how they looked in practice. Sampson rewards those that work hard and play smart. Sampson didn’t start KF due to injury of other players. He started along side last years starting PG because he showed out in practice. Sampson clearly sees what everyone else sees, KF is a baller.
