theres no way youd have a samp opinion on this… even if you were deeply sourced
i understand the potential of cross being the guy… but even if he was they dont overlap in recruiting to even hint his preference… we recruited holland before cross was in the picture, and like i noted earlier whoever it is is probably already decided so its likely not holland who hasnt decided
nowhere do they overlap in open recruitment to hint at a sampson preference… if i was a betting man id bet sampson would take holland over cross… if there was a choice

We backed off of Holland a long time ago.

because tugler commited…we have always been a “1st to commit school”…
your “doesnt fit the culutre thing” again zero way youd know that… you are adding your own context to it
we recruited him for YEARS up until tugler committed (or when tugler was basically a done deal)
by your logic cryer doesn’t fit the culture either who had something similar aswell… we were recruting like 6 touted pg (shead, cryer, reece, jalen cook, Mike Miles etc…) and this is why i was somewhat disappointed in the shead commit becuase he was the least offensive of the option and i know when Sampson gets his guy he isnt greedy and calls it … but here is Lj on the roster

and we took another guard that year in tramon… clearly a distinction in type of bigs…and type of guards (like a pg and sg)… tugler was recruited to be a 4, and the other 2 were centers… and im not even saying we wouldnt have taken holland, im saying our effort in recruiting them decreases. if holland was adamant on coming here i doubt we turn him down then or now … but when we get our guys the effort in other decreases…
