I was in the UH Cougar Marching Band. Coog donors kicked in and we were able to fly to Lubbock for the game. A great game and yes, it was tight at the end. Always thankful for donors getting us to Lubbock. Sweet flight home that night.
He did get a Coog judge…
What am I missing…?
I was there. Cold and blustery.
And beautiful with a Coogs upset win.
Sorry I misread the headline lol…I am sure Tech fans are tickled to death…
A close friend and his wife went and said it was not a very pleasant atmosphere after the game, and Coog fans were basically advised to stay quiet or they could receive physical harm. He told me he did not feel very safe leaving the stadium…
NCAA denies reinstatement.
Good.
Tech’s sugar daddies couldn’t buy his way out.
This was totally expected. The injunction hearing on 6/1 will tell the tale.
The ncaa had no choice. If uta had signed him he probably would have been able to play.
Absolutely 100 %
There’s a decent chance he will still play. The NCAA did what Sorsby’s team requested, which was to expedite their expected decision on reinstatement. If the judge grants an injunction in Sorsby’s favor after the 6/1 hearing, then the NCAA will probably enter into some kind of settlement that will allow him to play at least part of this year’s schedule.
This decision was a necessary step for the upcoming court proceedings.
Letter from the TTU President:

What will a settlement look like? Suspensions for 3 games? Or 6 games?
No idea, but I don’t think he sticks around if it is longer than 3 games. It might be 0-3 games with some kind of financial penalty.
The letter from TTU’s president raises some issues that are pretty thorny for the NCAA, but the injunction hearing will likely dictate whether he pursues playing in college or enters the NFL supplemental draft.
The SEC and B10 are frothing at the bit to break away from the NCAA. The next few decisions could expedite their time line.
