If we don’t fix the fact we looked like a JV team in the trenches against them it doesn’t matter who does or doesn’t play QB for them.
Good gives us a better chance to win the Big 12 this season!!!
Yes, and Frankly, he was good.
Ofc, who knows how he’d look coming back from an ACL injury.
ESPN says that Tech’s #2 guy will likely not be ready to play in the opener, so the Raiders could be down TWO QBs to start.
Quote: Texas Tech’s quarterback situation is tenuous, as backup Will Hammond is coming off an ACL tear in October. McGuire said recently that Hammond isn’t expected to be ready for the season opener. McGuire told reporters earlier this month that a timeline for Hammond’s return would be around Week 3 in the best-case scenario.
Back in the 70’s Louisiana governor Edwin Edwards was indicted for gambling. He went on TV and said something like, 2 to 1 I beat the rap.
Gambling is an addiction, so my view is Sorsby is getting the treatment he needs. No snickering or whispers needed. This issue should have been sussed out before Texas Tech signed him. As much sympathy as I have for Sorsby, I have none for Texas Tech. I hope Texas Tech has enough class to support the player when he is down.
He also said “the only way I don’t get reelected is if they find me in bed with a dead woman or a live boy”
My Tech booster buddy texted me “We can’t have nice things”
Looks like LSU get the last laugh
Good point, teetech spends a fortune for him and they did not know?
That is 100% on teetech.
TT had the five defensive players picked in first 3 rounds of this year’s NFL draft;
1st round; David Bailey – DE, taken 2nd overall
2nd round; Jacob Rodriguez – OLB, taken 43rd overall and Lee Hunter – DT, taken 49th overall
3rd round; Romello Height – OLB, taken 70th overall
I doubt they will have that quality of defensive players again this year; regardless, we will have a better OL this year and I think we will take it to them.
Chief Due Diligence Officer is in hot water right now.
So, let me make sure I have this right. When he was a freshman at Indiana he had an addiction that caused him to bet on his own team. Then, he was at Cincy for a few years and did not have an addiction and did not bet on his own team. Now he is at Tech, and he (does/does not) have an addiction but he is checking into a rehab facility to deal with the addiction he had 5 years ago at Indiana so as to avoid the NCAA eligibility loss for betting on Indiana while a player at Indiana.
Don’t bet on it. ![]()
Great post. Another example of why the ncaa needs to be replaced ASAP by a true competent board.
I wonder how different the guidelines are before May 2, if it is why they announced before.
More than likely, Cincinnati spilled the beans. Kudos to the Bearcats
You nailed it!
