Good lord we are losing to one of the worst teams in baseball this year , maybe we will make a comeback
Coogs on the board. 2 run HR by Ian McMillan. 4-2 T5
Our pitchers have walked 17 in 2 games against Tulane. The depleted pitching coming back to bite us?
Pitching staff has been a mess since day 1. You know things are bad when you don’t have your rotation settled just days before opening game.
We are very fortunate that this might be the weakest AAC has been since it’s beginning.
Tied 4-4!
Can something you never had be depleted?
Coogs take lead. 5-4. T9
That is ridiculous lol for college level pitching, this ain’t little league!
Coogs Win ! 5-4
7th straight Series win.
Coogs Win 5-4, remain 1st in the AAC by 1/2 game.
Nice job by the bullpen w 7 scoreless.
Tulane’s only All-AAC type hitter out helped.
Go Coogs!
The kids kept fighting and came back for another big win.
If we had a few more D1 pitchers this team would be special.
Still a big win!
People can complain about Whitting all they want, i was asking for him to be let go 3 yrs ago. But this should be about these Student/Athletes who have exceeded expectations ea week . Have no idea how this depleated pitching staff has held together. But the Wwwww’s keep piling up in Conf play. Now back to Reg Scheduled Programming
AAC Standings and RPI as of 9:50 on 5/13/23
1 Houston (14-5): 90
2 ECU (14-6): 20
3 Wichita St. (12-8): 96
4 UCF (9-11): 123
4 Cincinnati (9-11): 158
6 Memphis (8-12): 144
7 Tulane (7-13): 192
8 USF (7-14): 172
UCF and Cincinnati will decide who is 4th and 5th tomorrow.
If we beat Tulane, USF owns the tiebreaker, they won their series against Tulane 2-1.
In reality we probably need to win our final four games to finish first.
This^^^
Oooooooh, a visceral gut punch from UHRedCat. Provocative yet insightful. Never looked at it that way.
I’m not so confident in that happening.
I am not either. It would be somewhat of a miracle
