Well he did win the Orange Bowl with WV and also the Big East Championship to get to the Orange Bowl.

Why is it whenever a team faces adversity, posters get on here and immediately proclaim doom. Maybe let the game play out. I thought Tulane would have a tough time today, but they fought to the end and won.

What has he done at UH?
Umm we went 12-2 last year, if Cincy didn’t have the season of a lifetime, we would been in a NY6 Bowl as AAC Champions.

Hehe. I didn’t want to go that far back. As SHSU Alum hated to see him go. Only NDSU ( the Alabama of FCS ) kept him from winning back to back Titles at SHSU. I was there for both Natl Ship gms ( 2011, 12) in Frisco Tx

Look we can’t overreact to Tulane winning today and get rid of Holgorsen.
Did Tulane, SMU, Cincy, and Memphis all get rid of their coaches when we won the 2015 Peach Bowl?

We all get it that you and others hate Holgy but I am saying get over yourselves.
If our defense doesn’t improve vastly you may have your dream come true within the next couple of years.
I was never for the Holgersen hire, but he is here and I will continue to root for the Coogs to do well.

That game was pretty sweet in that the media barely mentioned UH and when it did UH was the team available to get wiped out.
Just think of how many times so many could have posted for six years that we fire coaches that only win 8 games.

I had a bad feeling about this year before it even started. I felt like we were overhyped by starting with a top 25 ranking and all the talk about possibly making the CFP.
We won’t have that expectation next year to start the season.

12-2 season had the same strength of schedule. We played the same teams but the ball did not quite bounce our way. In 12-2 season it took a Marcus Jones magic to win against SMU but there was no such magic this time other then the Memphis game.
