Mt. Airy was based on the show. They have a tour of the town in the original police cars. It’s two hours from Raleigh.
Dark Winds is one of my favorite shows on TV now….to go along with Your Friends and Neighbours.
I’m just hoping we don’t get another shot of Ser Arlan’s lance. Goodness gracious.
Y’all are missing the boat if you you aren’t watching “All Creatures Great and Small” on PBS and Britbox with your significant other. She will think you are much more sensitive than you really are. Based on the James Herriot books of an English veterinarian back in the day, it is very good. Great scenery and acting. Trust me, you’ll pick up valuable brownie points. Plus it is a very good show in it’s own right!

My favorite network show.
It’s formulaic, but entertaining.
The trial of seven didn’t end quite how I would have expected.
Hard to predict the next episode!
The violence was far more graphic than I expected. The girl dying the way she did was sad to watch.
My gf watches it. She’s watched the og one too. It usually helps put me to sleep.
My wife and I are enjoying the new Lincoln Lawyer season. Did the first 5 episodes in the first watching last night.
I thought the flashback scenes were dull but the actual combat was brutal. I really liked the shots from Dunk’s POV through the helmet.
I watched first run of both versions of Shogun as well as having read the book. Both did a good job of telling the story but in two completely different ways.
Lincoln Lawyer is really good!
Then here’s a question for you.
In which “Shogun” was the Father Alvito character more accurately portrayed when compared to the book?
The cruel, villainous religious fanatic portrayed in the original series?
Or the more practical, morally ambiguous character portrayed in the new series?
Or something else altogether?
Never read the book, so I’m curious.
The next episode is the season finale, so I would expect a cliff hanger.
Is the series going to run for multiple seasons?
According to Google….Yes.
Finished Lincoln Lawyer, it has jumped the shark. Total let down, with a cop out ending you could have figured out in the second episode. Plus they had him do very un Lincoln Lawyer stuff, that was 100% out of character. Maybe they should have ended in one season ago.
Okay Eyeore….
It wasn’t my favorite season but it was still great, finished in one weekend.
And you say “un Lincoln Lawyer” stuff….but it’s from Michael Connelly’s sixth book entitled The Law of Innocence….
Apparently you didn’t even know it was from a series of books….nice try.
