# Two in the AP Poll and Coaches Poll

CKS said he didn’t realize how much space there was on the floor in offensive sets until he was in the NBA. It made a world of difference in his coaching.

Can you imagine Olajuwon and Micheaux on the interior with Walker and Roberts? Olajuwon with his moves, blocking, rebounding, and shot and with Micheaux’s muscle.

Except that CKS did indeed make a Final Four at OU.

Hakeem had none of those moves or shot in college. NBA Hakeem was so much different from college Hakeem

I was wondering about that. I caught Olajuwon in his God-tier level 1993-1995. Had he had a fraction of that skill at UofH they shouldn’t have lost a single game. Especially if they had Drexler at the same time.

My favorite what-could-have-been story from back then was Portland offering the Rockets Drexler and their 2nd overall pick in 1984 for Ralph Sampson. It’d be Dream, Drexler, and the SG from UNC all on the same team!

Dream had a nice turnaround with some fade in college

He developed his turn around fade away jumper his last year here. He also was a great shot blocker and rebounder here.
Guy Lewis did a terrific job developing Dream
