Less than 10k Cougars would be disappointing. I think after last year and being ranked plus UTSA was very good it should have almost 40k. I am thinking 10-15k Cougars and 20-25k UTSA.
We will have well over 10K Coog fans and no reason to be disappointed.
Got mine through the utsa box office. Section 136, row 17. Really hoping i can actually make this one. Looking forward to it.
Need to get my hotel lined out. Been planning to do that since January
does anyone know which is our team hotel for UTSA this Sept.? Last time UHAA et al were at Hilton on the River.
Picked up a cottage in King William area. 1.5 mile from stadium.
Being a Coog, I found hotels pricey.
Any KOAs in the area?
How ‘bout nice truck stops with bathing bays?
Park your RV at a Walmart
Sleep in your car, take a dip in the Guadalupe, and head to the game.
Went with Home 2 within quarter mile of Riverwalk and mile of stadium. Plan to walk everywhere.
Not sure if this has been answered yet but if I buy tickets through the UH website are they automatically in the UH section? Also can I choose my seats or does it do it for me?
Are you doing this in New Braunfels ?
My friends and I did it when we were younger and crazier. We went to The SWC Basketball Tournament in San Antonio in the late ‘70’s/early ‘80’s. We would raft the Guadalupe during the day, go to the basketball games at Hemisfair Arena at night, hit The Riverwalk after the games, then return to our campsite for the night, and then rinse and repeat the next day. I’m afraid I couldn’t do it today. Or, at least, my wife wouldn’t put up with it.
just be sure a 7-11 is nearby
Yes
This was the only time I’ve spent in San Antonio other than a kid to the zoo but I lived in Texarkana so it’s quite a jaunt
Parking pass is $60? really
My hotel is 5 minutes from the Alamodome and I will take Uber to the game.
5 mins? Wouldn’t walking be a good option. /s
