Last year we finished 48 overall, 53rd in composite and 33rd in transfer .
Fritz has his conference championship background and the construction of the OPS facility to sell
Not last in the Big 12 anymore.
Regardless of how impossible it actually is, Florida fans are real salty at any suggestion that DJ Lagway may be weighing options. It’s just fun to be in their heads a bit despite the ship having sailed a few weeks ago.
Coaching wise, we’re a step ahead. They have a HC who is likely on his way out. Ours just came in (and has a great track record). Along with coaching connections with his dad, we should have a great shot, but NIL just throws all that out.
Hope we have a shot at the North Shore QB next year.
I think he goes with Florida this year but we’d be in good position for a transfer next offseason.
Hmmm…
Jamison Kitna says otherwise.
Big dude
We should look pretty good getting off the bus
I noticed Cyrus Reyes, safety from Katy Taylor has decommitted from Memphis today. I wonder if we are after him. I noticed there were several guys on that list from the greater Houston area and other parts of Texas that have decommitted today, yesterday, and the day before. Also had some from Louisiana.
Reyes committed to Miss State.

looking forward to tomorrow
OK, so by now everyone knows that CDH was lazy, especially as we see the effort and signees this new staff is putting together in a short time frame. But were all of the assistant coaches lazy too? Didn’t they have to go out and recruit?
So much for any theory about SMU out recruiting us.
I realize that the recruiting season is not over, and that SMU could still finish with a flurry.
But it looks as though the people here predicting that SMU would surpass us in recruiting are not seeing their prediction come true thus far, rich fat cats and NIL notwithstanding.
Hell, in just a few weeks, Fritz has already put us ahead of SMU, which has had, unlike UH, the whole season to work on recruiting.
No at this point in time, SMU has an avg recruit rating of 87.18 while UH still lags behind at 86.81.
Hopefully we can catch up and surpass them but it hasn’t happened yet.
Our class is ranked ahead with only a few weeks of real effort.
That’s it.
I thought SMU has a top 10 NIL program. Is this what their NIL is buying?
When SMU tries to recruit a top player, that top player probably responds: “Uh, no thanks.”
History and culture play a role too. So does putting players in the League.
Probably told them they didn’t have to….guys like Dana are the type that don’t want others to make him look bad.
