We need to land a few players the quality of Brazzell. Fritz has done a good job filling in some holes and bringing in guys who will contribute to winning B12 football but every good team has a few guys like Brazzell that wreck havoc on opponents and can take over the game. Ed Oliver was one of those guys, D’eriq King was one of those guys. Hopefully Fritz can close on a couple of big fish before spring classes start. Thrilled with what the staff has done in the last few weeks. I think they laid the foundation to go out there and really close on a couple of program changing players
He’s a four star by Rivals (which is what I’m hearing), then we have every reason in the world to properly call him a four star recruit.

Hopefully he sticks with UH. His X profile still shows Houston commit, which was as recent as this week. Money talks, though, and nowadays kids have a change of heart all the time.

Hadn’t heard UH was a candidate though.

Haha! I wish. While he might not possess the overall arm strength of Smith, he’s much quicker on his feet and statistically more accurate. 32/9 td to int ratio w/ a QBR rating 72, whereas Smith was 22/13 with a QBR of 63.

Brazzell is Koby Young two years in the future. Im excited about Young but he’ll be going through the same developmental process as the guys before him like MHP and Jonah Wilson.
Brazzell is also 6’4 or what not. Watch some of Tulane’s replays this year and he is a difference maker especially in the red zone. Throwing it to a 6’4 or 6’5 receiver with 1 on 1 coverage near the goal line is the kind of mismatch nightmare that could turn would be field goals into touchdowns for us next year.
