What’s crazy is, it wasn’t that long ago that Cincy was one of, if not the, conference match up on our schedule. Now we’ve got like 6-7 more exciting conference match ups and our fans are disappointed to see them on the schedule twice. Definitely think we’ve gotten spoiled.

This is super true. The Big 12 doesnt know how much of a bully Cincinnati can be when they’re rolling. Talk about a caged match! Whew!! Crazy games.

Not too many years ago, Cincinnati basketball was undefeated against UH, going back to the Oscar Robertson days. With Coach Sampson, UH has reversed the trend

This is why I love playing Cincy
They talked so much heavy trash when we joined the AAC…
They had something like a 30- 4 record and they talked heavy smack about how they owned us

That’s the reason I hate them so much… I got into it with a Cinci alum in midtown one time because I said UH and UC were similar in athletics and academics and that clown tried to act like that was an insult… needless to say we had to be separated and go about our separate ways the rest of the night… lol

That is almost true about Cincinnati having never lost to us until a few years ago. But in reality, I was at the game where the UH did beat Cincinnati at Hofheinz in either 1972 or 1973.

Don’t we already know 2 of the games in Vegas?
Cincinatti dominated us when we were at our absolute worst…we played them i think once in penders first year here and lost…but then they were really bad fir the next 6 years or so. Penders teams after that would have beaten them. But we didnt play them again until our first year in the AAC.
All-time history is 33-16 - Cincy holding the edge.
We had a long long terrible stretch against them - until Sampson.
I agree - had Penders had a regular rhythm against them - he would have played them at least .500.
