I seriously doubt that CKS is at all interested in that. As long as he is developing the UH team into an annual national title contender, I’m not concerned about who’s on our non-conference schedule.
As for me, I say let’s trust CKS on scheduling and keep the main thing the main thing.

I can never keep track of Kansas City - which part is in Kansas and which part is in Missouri. But regardless, that’s only 40 minutes from Lawrence so I’m still going to consider 1988 as the answer. But only until 2030 (Final Four is at AT&T Stadium) - unless Indiana or Purdue I guess win the 2026 or 2029 championships in Indianapolis. Or a team from Michigan wins the 2027 title (which is in Detroit - and Michigan State is considered the host oddly even though Michigan is much closer to Detroit than State).

I don’t think we make much money with home and away OOC for basketball even if it is a P4 opponent.
The real money is those in season tournaments with elite competition like the Vegas one last season.
