Wins vs Baylor in football, men’s hoop, & baseball in 23-24.
Shaky middle infield defense comes through.
Bullpen w 2 great outings in a row.
Should be a nice crowd w the timing of UH hoop game.

Nice win for the Coogs. Great to win our first ever Big 12 contest. We’re going to have some struggles at times in conference play, so grabbing wins when they are available is important. Let’s see if Cougars can build some momentum early in the conference schedule.

So far I am very pleased with our pitching coach. Our pitchers attack the plate. Last night we walked the batters. They walked seven. The pitchers look like they are getting better and throwing with more confidence. I know Baylor is not that good. But so far this season, our pitchers are making the other team beat us and not gifting runs.

So with bases loaded we PH for a guy who’s 4/8 on the year with someone batting .143. That AB went about as expected.

Great start to the conference slate.
Very nice beginning to our Big 12 season. I know Baylor isn’t good, but we need to get every win we can. Will be interesting to see how we do at BYU in our next series.

Baylor smaller guys low on speed. Big guys low on power. Some pitching.
They could be really bad this year or UH is better than we thought.
