So the moral of the story is y’all better come see Kansas this year, don’t sell ur tickets cause who knows when they’ll come back to Houston with an unbalanced schedule
My wife and DIL gave my son and I permission to start planning the KU/UH game in Mexico next year. Neither want to go. Time to get a passport. Will be great if it happens.
It’s this year
He obviously means next season, don’t be pedantic.
You never know. I have read enough things on here to not assume.
It would be interesting to know if the ticket demand exceeds Toyota Center. Heck move the game to TDECU and get 40k screaming UH fans. That would be awesome.
…
Come on Johnny. Coogs in the BIG12 now. Just put that Basketball court right btw the 2 – 40 yd lines. Easy peasy.
Sassafras
That definitely deserved a Sassafras. Like what idea… come again!
You got it Johnny Gonzales.
Clearly you’ve forgotten about the Astrodome. Get Rutgers to play us there (they have some top level recruits coming in and may reach number 1 next year) and have a Game of the Century II. Have Big E throw up the opening tip off as a symbolic gesture.
Besides, gotta decide which team wearing scarlet is the best. Whoever loses needs to get rid of Scarlet for good as a punishment/bet fulfillment.
TP, I got you by abt 25 yrs in age, so i have lot longer history w Coogs events. Not forgot abt anything my friend. You clearly missed the pun & why Chris was so far out of bounds. The game is being played in Mexico for bigger reasons n exposure than seating. So how he got to conclusion of hey let’s play at TDECU for goodness sake is beyond me. But maybe you & Chris can work w BIG12 Commish n get that game moved to NRG Stadium. Keep us updated.
Rats vs Rutgers i like it
The Astrodome is a dump, old, probably dirty and delapitated inside, u have got to be kidding lol
I didn’t take the Astrodome part serious, but who knows, maybe he was. This Thread is off the rails .
Back on subject hopefully.
I was joking. I didn’t end it with a “/s”, so the sarcasm totally went over some of your heads.
Definitely was, see above.
Unfortunately it sure did. Based on some of your other late nite posts, that are very bumpy, i thought you were being serious. . I’ll be more cautious next time. I’m still trying to understand the other poster who recommended TDECU for the KU/UH Basketball game. Pretty sure he was being serious.
I was basically saying why play at TDECU (with no roof) when we could at the Astrodome, which has one? And given what it’s meant to UH, it’s a no-brainer for a basketball game. Was just furthering the ridiculous hypothetical with another.
But no, not seriously suggesting playing in that dilapidated, outdated, never used, rat infested dump. If we played at any football stadium, it’d be Reliant (yep, still calling it that, still the same company so why not?), which we should have last year.
And isn’t it about time the city did something with it? It’s only been sitting vacant for 2 decades and taking up valuable taxpayer dollars. For all the money use to light that sumbich, we could have fixed most if not all the potholes around the city.
