I also find it sort of serendipitous (?) because I’ve been wanting to try LA Burgers & Daiquiris (which I pass when I go to Aldi’s) which is the last place she was seen.
Now I’m left wondering if that place or someone there had any hand in this.

News updates indicated that there did not seem to be any foul play after examination.
Also that she was last seen around some apartment complex after her sighting near LA Burgers & Daiquiris.
Tbf - I believe they’re just following trends that they pick up on thru sites like Reddit.
Theories abound on Reddit over the bodies that have been found in HOU Bayous & over at Lady Bird Lake in ATX.

Does Houston have a serial killer on the loose? Another body found in the Bayou, next to UH downtown.
I don’t think so. The UH student had no signs of foul play; I would guess it was intoxication or suicide. Or just an accident.
I agree with police statement about the number of homeless along the bayous. Bridges provide great shelter. Lots of cover along the bayous too for homeless too.
I’ve heard of bodies being found in the bayous all my life… never heard it blamed on a serial killer before. Police and Mafia, maybe, but not a serial killer.
But it’s more exciting to think there’s a serial killer out there.

Might should start preemptively shooting passersby on the bayou trails, just in case it’s the bayou serial killer… You can never be too safe.

They found another near UH-D. 6th body found dumped into the Bayou in the last 2 weeks.

It’s not a serial killer. Dumping presumably-intact bodies in the bayou by the dozen would be about the easiest way to get caught.
True Crime media was a mistake.
There’s also a serial car dumper out there. There was a story a few years back about the dozens (or was it hundreds?) of cars that were found using sonar…
Found it. Texas Equusearch found 127 cars in 2014 in just 3 bayous: Sims, Brays, and Buffalo. There are something like 2500 miles of bayous in Harris County… could be thousands of cars.
