UH Football Fall Camp Thread!

Ggg j h

Hardy har har . . . . .

Just reading through various articles it looks like the passing game is our strength.

The pass sets up the run? The Run-N-Shoot operated that way. Did not require killer OL, which we don’t have anyway.

Also, can we pin this thread until the start of the season?

Love what Barbay is preaching. Emphasize the little things. I am really excited to see what this staff can put together this year. We will shock some people

Question for anyone who knows.

Is this our current Oline starting 5?

David Ndukwe, 6’6" 315
Peyton Dunn, 6’6" 325
Pancake Hunter, 6’2" 310
Tank Jenkins, 6’3" 320
Jake Wiley, 6’6" 310

If not, then please make a correction.

I’d be a little surprised to see Cedric Melton from Ole Miss not cracking the starting five after getting hundreds of snaps in SEC games.

Hobby-Lee but Wiley is getting some first team reps. Still trying to figure out the Tackles but David and Hobby-Lee have been the starters

We are going to beat Oklahoma and Utah.

Conference championship game.

Any word on his injury?

Coach Barbary is the real deal. We are lucky to have him.
Go Coogs !

We have some very under the radar players that have a legit shot of being all conference level players.

Haven’t seen anything. Waiting for JD to post an update.

  • Mekhi Mews
  • Payton Dunn(transferred last year)

Freshman

  • Koby Young
  • Re’Shaun Sanford

A lot of lowkey really good and veteran pickups in the portal. We are also oozing with you talent. Great competition all around

Maliq Carr will almost undoubtedly be the highest impact transfer, given that he was the highest rated TE in the transfer portal, and the highest rated “pass play” TE among returning B1G tight ends.

Batton is an intriguing prospect. He seems a bit undersized as FBS LBs go, and ULM is definitely on the lower end of I-FBS. Nevertheless, the leading tackler on ANY FBS defense is likely going to be able to come in and make an immediate impact.

Mews will certainly help our return game.

Has the CA JUCO All-American transfer Hingano Hautau (6’6" 325) been getting many reps on the Oline?
