Season tickets should be a something special, I saw a promotion to the Oregon state game where they can get a pin for a single game purchase ticket. I feel SZN ticket holders should get access to all single game ticket giveaways.
Specially with how small the season tickets count is, we can make it better by just providing something that you can’t get anywhere else.
@JeffM_CP this is a great point the poster brings up… how can we get this pin or other giveaways as season ticket holders?
Also, does UH do anything for us when we hit 10, 15, 20 years as season ticket holders?
I think I’m at 15 years straight with my tix…
Would be cool to have a special hat or something (a pin, etc.) that only those dedicated season ticket holders can get/have after showing support for such a long period of time…
I had a former coworker that occasionally wore the polo he got for being a Texans season ticketholder to work and on the days he wore it I was noticeably more likely to google Texans season ticket prices. Just putting that out there. Maybe just a coincidence, who knows?
It might be worth pointing out that most colleges tie those sorts of gifts to Athletics Scholarship Fund (Cougar Pride) giving levels instead of to season ticket purchases directly.
Apparently we give something away at about the $6k giving level, which seems….steep. This year it was a branded power bank, which I personally would have been whelmed by.
Also might want to consider that our season ticket prices are, AFAIK, the lowest in the Big XII; how much more would you be willing to pay for something like that?
Nothing… but I’d definitely show off my section 117 polo, or hat…
And I’m not talking about every year… I’m talking about a small token of recognition for hanging in there through thick & thin every 5, 10, or more years in a row…
Appreciate this feedback, HTown! I love the idea of intertwining single game sales incentives as season ticket rewards, too. I’ll pass this along to our external leadership group – they’re the ones who meet to work hand-in-hand across ticketing, Cougar Pride, marketing, creative content, etc.
I do think it’s worth noting that single game buyers don’t get several perks that we have found to be driving factors in converting single game buyers to season ticket holders. Those would include access to postseason ticket requests, season-long parking, and other pieces depending on Cougar Pride level.
That said, creating value for our season ticket holders and donors is a major driver for our internal conversations and I’ll happily convey this to our group. Appreciate you taking the time to share these thoughts!

Hey Shaun! We updated the benefits to include ‘Cougar Pride Annual Fund Events’ in place of just the one kickoff event. I’ll check with our team on where we’re at for rolling out that schedule.
This was done after reviewing feedback about that benefit being an ‘all or nothing’ perk. If calendars didn’t align on the specific hours on the one day, you simply didn’t get to enjoy that perk. So we’re expanding the events to offer a few different options throughout the year.

So yalls answer to people being upset that they could not make the one event was to not have that event. I understand and agree you should have more events, but to drop the existing annual event with not as much as a peep leaves people wondering if they missed the single email invite.
