I would suggest UH consider inducting QBs Gary “Moon” Mullins and D.C. Nobles into the Athletics Hall of Honor.
Mullins was UH’s first successful veer QB, beat Auburn in the Bluebonnet Bowl, and had a 25-5 record at UH.
D.C. Nobles followed Mullins at QB, and was UH’s first black QB. He led UH to an 11-1 record in 1973, and top 10 ranking (7th), capped off by win in the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl against Tulane. His record at UH was 26-8-1.
