UH new hires: Kendal Briles and Randy Clements

I’d guess COL in Houston area better than in Florida area, so ONLY $50k is probably worth more than $50k . . . . .

I believe that’s the base salary. So, in case we win a conference championship or go to a NY6 bowl, he will
pick up some more cash.

Red, your comments are perfect, just like your BBQ!

Scary how similiar the mindset around here is to the prevailing mindset on this board.

The Baylor board was complimentary of the KB hire. Some are wary of the juggernaut that we may become on offense and how the hires will effect the recruiting market for Houston area athletes.

Wasn’t Kendall a Broyles winner/finalist and Big12 recruiter of the year 2 times? Sounds pretty good to me.

LOL…“Done with UH athletics…”…yeah, right. When we are conference champs again and going to NY6 bowls, you’re telling me that you’re not going to watch or go? LOL

Someone said Kendal said. Where’s the proof? What did Kendal say he said? Kendal said, “Hey we need some big uglies on the offensive line. You may not have a girlfriend now, but not to worry. We have a lot of female students that come to the games.” Now insert what you will, but nothing degrading to a female was stated.

Nope.

To me there are things bigger than athletics.

Not going to waste any more time discussing it.

Of course they were complimentary of it. Now, we are in bed with them partially absolving their guilt.

They would approve of mandatory rapes of all women if the Southern Baptist church sanctioned it and it helped them win games again.

Unfortunately, I see a similar willingness growing here to sell one’s soul for wins.

LOL…yeah, right.

This will be one of darkest hours.

This will be the beginning of the end for the current University administration.

With all that is going on in the greater world has our administration learned anything at all.

For shame.

Don’t worry guys they’ll be back. Just will take winning which from what I’ve read from several threads UH will be doing a lot of come this fall.

As a personal example I stopped watching baseball in 1994 and vowed to never return. Then 2017 came and went and now I’m a bigger fan than ever.

There was a lot of winning baseball between 1994 and 2017, so it obviously took more than that to get your attention.

Darkest Hours? Did you just return from the Churchill movie about Dunkirk?

Indeed, I believe we are about to embark on the most successful period of football success we haven’t seen since the Yeoman teams of the 70s and the Pardee years of the 80s.

Coming from the same guy that trolled every game after Kyle Allen got demoted because you didn’t agree with that.
