The PAC had their chance to grab us…not only a new market in a huge stare but to add another top 25 football program…they passed.
They may still add us but it will cost them more

Yet …they will continue to talk as to why Cincinnati is undeserving because they play in a weak conference

Best ranking since we were #17 in week 9 of 2018. Very similar circumstances, too, as we were 7-1 with an early season loss to a bad Tech team and the ranking came after an undefeated #21 USF got beat at TDECU in our Halloween weekend game. Hopefully this season finishes better than that one did.

I’ve also noticed less shade throw at UH from big 12 honks on social media. No more ‘UH was thrown in’ statements from the gallery

Yooo check this out the highest AP ranking is from our UT guy Kirk Bohls at 15.
Four holdouts hail from Tuscaloosa, Albuquerque, Syracuse and Cleveland. They too shall believe after a couple more wins

3 of the 4 going to the Big 12 are in the Top 25, Texas is 4-4 unranked. They can shove their narrative that the 4 schools don’t help it’s P5 status.

BYU and UTSA are both ranked ahead of us and we need to pass them to get to an NY6 bowl.
UTSA is undefeated and have games at UTEP (6-2), home for Southern Miss (1-7) and UAB (5-3), then at North Texas (2-6). Their big wins were against unranked Illinois (37-30) and Memphis (31-28).
BYU is 7-2 and have games at home against Idaho State (0-8), at Georgia Southern (2-6), and at USC (4-4).
If we beat an undefeated Cincy in the CCG, then we have a legit shot of passing those two, but I would feel a lot better about it if UTSA would lose a game to either UTEP or UAB.

BYU cannot get the G5 NY6 spot because they are not in a conference. We don’t have to worry about them.
